Little Crickets Kidzania Autumn Event
On Sunday 18th October 2015 we all met at 9:30 in a deserted Westfield shopping centre to go Kidzania - it was great fun.
It's a child sized city, where the children try out a whole array of different jobs, getting paid in 'Kidzo's' for some tasks, or using their hard earned cash to pay to get their face painted, make chocolate etc.
So whether that was being a theatre actor, police officer, fireman, dentist, pilot, musician, radio DJ, animator, chef, rock climber (the list is endless) the kids had a blast.
We’d received a grant from the NDCS to cover the entry fee for our deaf children so we thought we'd get there early to make the most of it. We thought that the 4 hours the kids had would be plenty but the time passed in heartbeat as the children ran from one activity to another.
It was fantastic to get so many families together and thanks go to the NDCS for providing the grant to make it possible for the children to go.
If you were one of the families that attended drop me an email to garethheal@hotmail.com to let me know what did and didn't work for you so we can plan more events for next year. Also, if you have any photo's from the day then please forward them on so I can post them here.
It was brilliant fun and good to see you all.
Thanks,
The Little Crickets Team xx
